RTN return from dead possible?

    I had 2 acros succumb to rtn about a week ago! Now this guy is starting to show more and more color everyday! I didn't pull it or treat! Thoughts? Suggestions?

    You can see the exposed skeleton! It was all like that now the green is coming back!

    Anything is possible. All it takes is a couple cells to stay alive and the tissue will regenerate.

    This cyphastrea RTN'd over night while I was running pellets. I never removed the "dead" skeleton or piece of rock it was originally attached to. About a month later I noticed 3 pink dots fluorescing in the moonlight. It's grown out to this in about the same amount of time.

    That green is probably algae, but ive had alot of sps regrow tissue from very little left.

    Nah it's the coral! The exact color it was when I first got it! I just keep reading on here that rtn is a death sentence so I just assumed so! But this one kept just a touch and it's coming back string lately! Just hoping!

    excuse my noob qestion, what is rtn an abreviation for? I work at a bank and all I can think of is routing number

    Rapid tissue necrosis. If ya hold ur cursor over an abbreviation it will normally show ya what it stand for?
