I have a DSB in my little 10 gal sump and i just added a bunch of base rock and some live rock to my display above it (I just started my cycling). Do you guys think I should toss some of the rubble from shipping the base rock over the DSB in the sump?

The rubble will probably sink down over time. I usually save the rubble for latter, sometimes it is useful for gluing a coral, or propping up a rock a bit, or using as a filler piece etc...

    BTW welcome to 3reef!

No. Nothing but a dirt magnet. DSBs need to breath.

Right on. Skimmer is the only thing downstairs of the display other than the DSB so i figured i'd ask.

    Thanks
