I have an Innovative Marine 38 gallon using the stock pump that runs at about 476GPH. Would it be too much flow if I used two of these pumps. I would just run one pump to each return instead of using the stock splitter.

I am afraid it would add too much heat to the tank since it is an all in one and the pumps are in the back of the tank.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't think that would be too much flow, and likely won't cause any heat issues (although I have no idea what pumps they use). I have two pumps in my JBJ 28 (265GPH each), along with two Koralia 450's for reference.

I was just going to use a larger pump... Something in the 600gph range. Be interesting to know how 2 does.
