It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes it was a major pain but do able, you have to mod the lid and move the media basket. I ran it in a HOB fuge for the first year though.

I use the Tunze 9002 on my 29g. Its in my 10g sump. Great skimmer. I'm new to saltwater so I dont have anything to compare it to. But once the break in is done and you get it dialed in it removes all sorts of gunk.

I very well may look into trying this one for my 34 Solana tank. Right now I'm using the one that came with the tank but I can't get a good position for the collection cup as I have to have it sit lower in order to use the lid on my tank because of my yellow wrasse having jumped out of the tank before.

Def get the Tunze 9002, great, quiet, consistent skimmer. IMO the best nano skimmer out there.

And I have also had the aquatic life mini 115, it, in my experience, skims very lightly and it will stop skimming for days, then will start again all of a sudden, or you will have to take it apart and clean it. Tunze 9002 IMO is the way to go.
