running heater during cycle

    do i need to run a heater during my cycle? My tank is holding at about 70deg without one.

    It would be a good idea to test the equipment out and then when the cycle is done you will ready to add your CUC members right away.

    Yes, it is always good practice to try to keep your tank as stable as possible, you also want to test out your heater, because that will be something very important if your tank is holding at 70. Plus im sure that the bacteria you are working to build up wont mind :)
