I have a TLF Phosban 150 that I run phosban media in. Would it be beneficial to buy another one and run carbon through? Anyone else doing anything like this or have any other suggestions?

Yup, you can do that. Works fine. I wouldn't feed both with the same pump though. The carbon should not tumble, the GFO should, so it's tough to get the flow rate right with a single pump.

Yep, that is exactly what I do.
I run GFO in the first reactor and GAC in the second ... both fed with the same pump ... I just adjust the flow with the TLF valve to the first reactor so that the GFO tumbles and the GAC does not ... works great.

Very common practice. They are not exhausted at the same rates. GFO needs lower flow.... so the same flow through the carbon will not effect it at all. Carbon can handle higher flow, but it does not NEED higher flow.

Definitely a good way to go. I have a Bulk Reef Supply dual reactor one side has GFO and the other carbon.

    I may check into that!

If I decided to do two different ones I would use two different pumps for sure
