Ahh, I see. Lol, they don't look mean. Like blue devil and 3-stripe look like they are ready to mess someone up. These look kind of peaceful.

    UPdate,
Checked on my Rust Angel tonight in my sump when the chaeto lights are on.

He's pissed! Looking for a way out, etc.

I did feed him some pellets and he ate though.

He sure looks good in there too! He is a beautiful fish!

Happy to say since the Rust A. move, the Flame A. is acting/swimming more normally again.
I did notice the Coral Beauty A. giving him some nudging as well, but more playful. The CB doesn't chase him endlessly and get him to stay at the top.

The Flame is much happier, and his fins are growing back.

The Rust A. in the sump is doing OK also. I'm feeding him there, and he has lots of algae to eat also.

I'm thinking leave things this way until after my 180g comes online.

Very good to hear Todd. Nice job taking the necessary steps. I would also add that you should probably still sump the Rust for a few weeks after the 180 is up, otherwise I see the same thing happening in the new tank.

Came home from an overnight trip to the Wisconsin Dells Waterparks, and
found my Rust Angel on top of my chaeto mass- he has expired.

He was in the section that had quite a bit of swimming area, and had been doing well.
I think he flopped up on top of the chaeto, and couldn't get back off, thus expiring.

Bummer, I did like that fish, he/she was a beautiful fish, with nice color and markings.
So this is how my plans to save the Flame A. ended, unintentionally.

Sorry Todd. I guess hopefully someone else sees this and if they decide to sump a fish, make sure to get some kind of a cover/protection from going from one side to another. Hopefully the Flame does well in the long run so it will not be for nothing. I love my little Flame and would have done exactly the same as you.
