So... I attempted to install my AquaC Urchin Skimmer is the first section of my sump, which turned out to be way too small. I will be upgrading to a 10 gallon sump ASAP. Here is a video showing how jerry-rigged my skimmer installation is......

    Here's the sump!

I added some mesh between the first and second chambers to prevent any plants from leaving the fuge and messing with pumps. also, partitioned off one corner of the fuge (1st chamber) where the water will fall from the tank to prevent stirring of sand.

OH! Forgot to mention, my ReefBreeders BridgeLux value fixture came in today. I'm amazed with how well constructed it is at such a reasonable price. All dimmable, separate controls for blues/whites, silent cooling fans AND included hanging wires. I will certainly be making a trip to home depot to grab some metal mounting brackets to hang from the wall :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks like the ReefBreeders fixture fits the tank perfectly.

Congrats, it's all coming together nicely.

It's pretty funny, if I look at the tank for a while with just the blues on, everything else looks red in comparison when I look away o_o
