Cycle is going good I have been messing with the timers and lights some, tweaked some of my plumbing and checked my water today

Changed the aqua scape around a little im really liking it and my super reef octopus BR-70 bio pellets reactor and 500ml of ecobak by warner marine pellets are shipped and on there way to me. Stay tuned for more and hopefully some better pics soon.

 

Tested Parameters my tank will be month old saturday

Ammonia between 0 and .25 really hard to tell
Nitrite between 1 and 2
still no nitrates
ph 8.1-8.3
sal 1.025
Does everything look ok should i have nitrates? I used the raw shrimp method should it take a month to see nitrates and ammonia to drop?

 

Hmmm, looks like you started with very nice dry base rock. If you do not see any nitrates in the next week take some water to the LFS and have them test. It does take longer from scratch but worth it, just got to have a lot patience, easier said than done.

Yes patients is hard but ill give it till next weekend or so and see what my parameters are

 

Reef Octopus BR-70 came in and fits perfectly in my stand really well made will update on how it performs when I put my reactor online. I still havent heard anything on my tracking number for my order of ecobak that I ordered the same time I ordered my reactor but hopefully will be here soon.
