Ryan's 57g Rimless New Coral Pics

well my cycle is almost over finally I had a bit of trouble with nitrites stuck for nearly 2 weeks but now are going back down. I re aquascaped my tank and may have effected the cycle a little I dont know. Anyways here is a couple Iphone pics of the new rock work and I made a mesh jump stopper using BRS 1/4in clear net and a trip to lowes. I Painted it black and matches perfect with my tank silicone. I cut it to fit perfectly on top of the tank and stop where the bevels are if that makes since. I also made some tabs that the corners fit over and wont allow it to move. Lastly I place my first fish order from the LFS it is suppose to be in next wednesday and I will be order a cuc soon with some macros hopefully stay tuned.

Your tank has def turned out very nice, I'm excited to see how it looks full of corals! The set up looks very clean.

 

Thanks everyone for the kind words I can't wait to fill it up with corals either lol. My cycle is pretty much over no nitrites or ammonia. I placed my first order today and should be here Tuesday I hope and my first fish wednesday. I will add to my cuc when my tank matures but I will post what I ordered . I am gonna do a 15g wc Sunday or maybe Monday and let my nitrates drop over the weekend then drop the rest with the wc.

20 nassarius vibex
6 small to medium nerites
1 pods+
1 ulva
2 nassarius Tongan

I plan on picking up 2 or 3 scarlet hermits Wednesday also and maybe a fire shrimp then it will probably be a month before my next fish or fishes so stay tuned for updates of new corals and livestock and equipment along the way

 

picking up my first fish tom from lfs and maybe some other treats excited now i just have to wait a few more hours lol stay tuned pics will come when I get home with it.

 

Well my first fish is in and all is great he is swimming and ate right off i will try in get the good camera and take some pictures tom. I got a Fancy snowflake and fire shrimp, 3 scarlet hemits, and a free zoa coral. I also picked up some pe mysis, cyclopeeze, selcon, coral rx, and some frag glue. I did a water change yesterday and my parameters as of today where as followed ph-8.1, amm-0, nitrite-0, nitrate- .25. Now if I can figure out my cloudy water problem I will be happy. Cloudy water happened to me as well when I upgraded to 90 from 29. Took like 2 weeks to clear up on its own. I was told that everything gets covered with a thin film coat after the initial setup, some sort of breaking in period.
