Also a few pictures from the iphone so bare with the quality but they turned out ok. All the adds are doing great eating, and the zoas open up within hours. I also did a 15g water change and all my parameters yesterday are as followed. Ph-8,1, Amm-0, nitrite-0, nitrate- .25, temp-77, Sal-1.025

My cuc arrived was a little worried because we have had cold weather (30's at night) here and when they arrived the bags were pretty cold but all is looking pretty good and once again another great purchase from reef cleaners John promptly emailed me back throughout.

Also bought 30lbs of reef flake sand from tropical eden tired of the sand storms from marcos rock sand. My question is Im looking to siphon some of my old out and place the new over the remaining should I do it all in one day my tank is still pretty new and the snad bed is around an inch in depth? The sand I will be adding is dry dead sand also.

Last question for now I have 1 Snail And 1 Hermit in my refugium with pods and ulva on reverse lighting. I get pellets that get drained down into it from the DT and I was wondering what are some good refugium inhabitants to have.

Well i added the sand and tank has really cleared up. Its nice looking at the tank and not having small particles of sand floating around. Only change I have noticed from the sand is a small diatom breakout, Seems to have receded about as fast as it came. I have been using a filter sock also on the main drain line that gets 80 to 90% of the water, leaving the refugium with nothing in hopes it keeps the pods making the trip up into the tank. Pods seem to be doing so as I have them all over the glass as well as what looks like snails laying eggs on the glass. Is this a good thing?

As for livestock I traded in my Fancy Snowflake for Trio of barletts anthias that are beautiful. The snowflake would attack my hand everytime it went into the tank to do anything bringing blood a few times, so I could see the aggression and didnt want to risk adding fish with it in the tank so the lfs took store credit for it. The Bartletts I added yesterday and within an hour or so they started coming out and I fed Rods and they ate right off. They also ate that yesterday evening as well a few pellets and some rods again. I would love to get them on pellets for days I am at work I can use my auto feed. Is their any tips to doing so? Also the trio is 1 male that is good size larger than the 2 females and all three have great coloration with the male being the nicest. They also are relatively small Male being maybe 2 inches and females 1 1/2in maybe less on both. I also added my 3rd ricordia trying to build my ric garden. I will try to get some pictures up soon stay tuned.
