S. Lightfoot in overflow ??

    Got a S. Lightfoot in one of my overflow's !!! Have been feeding her but don't know if she knows how to get out !!! Should I go fishing or leave her in the overflow ??

    Can it get out if it tried? I know in my over flow there is no way it would be able to get out so I would fish it out.

    I would get it out, you can't enjoy it when it's in the overflow.

    A fishing line with out a hook on works OK for crabs IME
    Just tie a prawn or other piece of shellfish on and wait for crab to grab it, if you use gently pressure to pull upwards, the crab wont let go of the food

    i doubt it could get out since a) it doesnt want to leave the water
    b) the inside probably doesnt have the algae gowth necessary for the crab to climb on it.
