As many of y'all have warned me that the Sabea will need MH lighting I am going to give it another try with my PCs.

I decided to give it a second try because I know a few people that have had success with PCs.

That said, I made sure that this Sabea looked healthy. I see no problems with him to start. He ha a brownish color and looks like no physical damage.

I acclimated him and gave him his new home. My Clown was like a kid in a candy store. They seem to be very happy together and the Sabea has opened up nicely. Keep your fingers crossed.:toilet:

I paid $25 for him. I figured, a Movie for my two kids, my wife and me would be $40 with some Popped Corn and soda and that only lasts 2 Hours.

I am already ahead of the game. ;D

Remember that lighting is only part of the equasion in maintaining a Sebae, or any other anemone, for an extended period of time! One thing that I find in the success of anemones is the maintaining of nitrates around 10. My soft corals, Tridacna clams and Pacific Long Tentacle Anemone are thriving under higher levels of nitrates. In fact, my Anemone is in my 30 hex tank with no filtration other than biological filtration accompanied by my live sand and rock!!! No protein skimmer is being used. Now, I don't advise, this procedure of not using a skimmer, however, my skimmer broke and money is tight, so my feeding is limited to my inhabitants and I also do weekly water changes religiously!!!!!!!

My Nitrates are between 0 and 5 at most. Are you saying that Nitrates too LOW could be a problem for the Anemone?

Not so much as it is yet another way for filter feeders to feed. Corals and other lifeforms also consume nitrates and phosphate!

I had my last sebae a lil over a year w/ no problems until i got it sucked into the filter during a water change. i have PC's as well and no skimmer. my NO3 stays between 10-20ppm.
