    sad news Sacul1573

on the positive side, you do seem to have some contented and colorful corals in your reef tank
    and some nice clean rockwork

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Sorry for the loss. :-(

What a way to spend your birthday though.

Images are very nice and nice corals, curious as to name for the acropora?

The acro is a green slimer, still getting somewhat established. It has encrused about 1/4" of the base, and grown about the same from the tip. I think it is still acclimating to the light though, hence the lightish color?

Thanks Steve, my wife and I are both pretty bummed about the passing. That fish had alot of sentimental value. My thoughts is a bladder infection, layed on the bottom of the tank for 3 days, medication did not seem to help.

The future of the Edge is uncertian right now. I think we might give off the fish that are in it right now (a friend's daughter wants to get into fish). I had wanted to go SW with it, but that is quite an undertaking, both in effort and financially. I might instead go with a goldfish, as that is what my wife originally wanted with the tank, and molly was our "goldfish".

Thanks Travis! All of your frags are doing well except the orange encrusting monti, I think I placed it too high too fast. It bleached out, but it's starting to come back. The others have almost fully encrusted and are growing out.

Well, we started the week with a loss, and ended the week with a loss. The firefish showed up one morning with a few bites from its doral and tail fins, someone was nipping. Anyway, I managed to net it the second night, and place it in the fuge. Checked a few hours later, and it had gone belly up. Its been a pretty frustrating week...
