Well, good to hear she's hunting. I think eventually she will come around to frozen food. She's still adjusting to your tank.

Congrats on the ORA mandarin, KC. Keep your camera by the tank. Grab it and turn it on every time you'll get close to that tank. Catch her with her guard down, you know?
I can't wait to see a pic. Good luck!

get some frozen cylopeeze and add a little bit of garlic extract to it (not much). Garlic will at least get it's attention.

I would just say that the mandarins are finding a more readily available food source in your tank and instincts do take over. I'll take a couple of picture of the two that are at the store on display. They are in a tank that is covered in red slime but I'll still get some shots.

    Thanks.

The main issue I'm having is that when it's feeding time I can't find her. So that's definitely not allowing me to present her with prepared food. Grrrr! I call her at feeding time, but I guess she can't hear me ;)

I'm so happy to hear she is hunting and beginning to fill out! Hopefully she'll eat prepared one day. :)

Well....nothing good to report. She still won't take prepared food and she is painfully thin. I can't stand looking at her. :(

There are plenty of pods. I think it's just she was so thin when I got her already....I've heard it's hard to bring them back once they are thin.

I didn't read all of your posts, but did you try Nutramar Ova? Mine won't touch Cyclopeze.

I haven't. I couldn't find it anywhere. I guess I could get some off the internet.
