    Hey guys...

Well after 4 months of being away from college, i come back to see that my tank is doing pretty much ok. A but of aiptasia but thats getting taken care of...i love watching them die with the kalk...evil little buggers...anyway. My colt coral i thought was over its brown slime...but i just had to cut about 1/2 of it away. I am starting to think that there is some parasite living in it because everytime i cut some of it away a mass of little white balls goes flying out and there are alot embedded in its tissue. It seems that really the old coral affected by it is the colt. My kenya tree had it once but that was 2 years ago. I am thinking whether i should keep letting it fight this battle or take the mother out completly. There are younger generations that seem to be free of this problem...but i really dont want to let my first coral (3 years ago) die... Has anyone ever had a problem with soft coral parasites laying a lot of little white eggs all over the inside of the coral?

I read in another thread that it may actually be the tissue of the coral inside which looks like white eggs, but I can't be positive. I would do a google search on the soft coral nudibranch.

I really wasnt able to find any real information about white egg-like sturctures in a colt coral. In fact i wasnt even able to find any info on a parasite that might do somthing like this. One day a year ago i believe i did see some sort of flatworm on the coral...but Im not really sure. If anyone can find a site that has some info on this feel free to link it up :)
