So i got my 125g setup finally, but the manufacturer sticker on the front glass is still there. I tried peeling it off, but only 1/10 of it came off and I can't seem to peel the rest without the backing sticking on the glass. Just want to confirm, is it okay to use the razr blade to scrape the remaining of the sticker without scratching the glass period?

Yes. You will get really comfortable using razor blades on the tank once the coralline stats growing. You could also hit it with a blow drier and that will loosen up the glue and the sticker will come right off.

also soaking it in hot water, will cause the glue to become tacky again and then its simply to remove the sticker

Razors are fine, just be careful around your siliconed joints.

    LOL

no I meant using a flannel or cloth with hot water and applying it to the sticker
repeat as often as required and the glue with soften and peel right away

although the idea of taking a large tank to the public swimming baths for a good soaking is a funny concept IMO

tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil works really great for getting all kinds of sticker glue off without much effort, if you can stand the smell.
tho i'm not sure if you guys have it in the states lol

For gunk you can use Goof Off. That stuff works wonders. Just make sure to clean off the area really well when you're done.
