safely adding a concrete or plastic statue to a tank

    i want to put some kind of concrete or plastic statue in my tank and was wondering what i needed to do to make it safe for the tank. or if there is somewhere online i could a tank safe statue

    Anything made of concrete will need to be cured for several weeks in FW so everything leaches out of it.

    It all depends on the plastic...some are safe, some aren't.

    Your best bet is to buy a decoration made for aquaria.

    FWIW, whatever you add will need to be removed and cleaned periodically as algae will grow on it.

    thanks i just have a hard time finding what i want is there any kind of coating to put on one

    Maybe some kind of epoxy coating, but I don't know what might work.
