Would a Sailfin be Ok in a 90 gallon tank with a blue tang ?

A sailfin and a blue atlantic or a regal tang will be fine together, however the sailfin will outgrow the 90g in sometime.

Depends on the size of the Tang, Tangs are more easily manageable in my opinion to have around the 2-3" range to start with, but have some growth spurts but slow down in between. Just depends how small you get the fish. I wanna say depending on the fishes growth rate 1-3 years.

Fwiw, a regal tang will outgrow a 90g as well as the sailfin tang.

Regals will get to be close toa foot long, and the sailfins will grow to just over a foot long.

I had my 4.5" sailfin in my 90g, and it was noticeably bored in there. I transferred him and all the rest of the fish to the 200g, and it was immediately happier.
