So today I picked up a 150 gallon 72"x18"x28" dual overflow tank. Black oak stand and canopy. SWC 250 skimmer. Retro t5 lights with reflectors. Octopus return pump. Uv sterilizer. 100 lbs of rock. And a few other things

I'm thinking about going LEDs. What r u panning on doing for lights

 

Congrats in the new tank man. I'll definitely be following along. Pictures better be up when I get on tomorrow.

Any specific plans with this tank as of yet? I bet it you might have some trouble deciding how to scape it after having a 40g for so long.

 

They will be up as soon as my girl lets me leave. Bout 30 minutes I'll have some up

havent really thought of the aquascape yet..i wanna do the rock wall kinda, but its soooo much work.. idk i get the rock delivered tomorrow and gotta start stacking different pieces and see what i have to work with..and the stand needs to be resanded, a couple knicks fixed and sanded, and re painted and glossed..



aquascape is def somehow gonna be the islands

 

yeah its a beast.. i cant wait to just start working on it.. tomorrow its gonna be cleaned, everything now is soaking in vinegar and ill scrub everything tomorrow..
