the tank is barebottom.. the only sand that can be seen is just some that has blown off the rocks..all that is about to be siphoned up

i know the triggers are a risk, but im gonna get a few more, and have a small school of them, the nigers are the only ones that supposedly can be kept in a school.. supposedly if you get them as small as possible and keep them well fed, then they are pretty chill fish..

ive always wanted triggers, they are my favorite fish, im willing to take the risk.. so far they have been good as can be

Not really sure y I went barebottom. I like that I can have tons of flow. it's way easier to keep my tank cleaner. I've also noticed it's easier for my fish to eat all the food, when I had a sandbed it seemed to me once the food hit the sand no one touchedtye food. At least now even if it on the bottom glass the fish still eat it.

I also think it looks more natural. And it makes the tank bigger

that's funny, i would think sand would make it look more realistic seeing as how that's what makes up the ocean bottom...

yeah but everywhere i have dived, on coral reefs you dont really see the sand, all you see is rocks and corals..

sure there are some places that consist of corals and sandbeds
