Saints Fan 150g tank (LEDS)

This is pretty much the only picture I have right now of it. Its outside on a sunny day, but inside my garage not under direct sunlight.

 

I agree that a semi gloss would look good, but on a 150 there is a lot more sufrace area and a canopy, i think the semi gloss would pop a little too much and take your eye away from the display. but thats just my .02. and nightster that is for sure a sweet setup.

 

i like that too.. how many coats did it take to blend in all the streaks and stuff from the gloss

 

That is 3 coats, obviously letting it dry between coats. I can get an inside picture tonight when I get home if you'd like me too. Thanks dan, the small sections on the side are to hide my 5 gallon ato on one side and electrical on the other. Ok no more thread hijacking sorry...

 

Yea Sorry Saintsfan420, but you have to admit that the setup on nightsters stand and tank is cool. Ok sorry. No More! Black period for a stand and canopy would be a great color choice no matter the finish you are looking for, but personally i like the matte.

hahaha yes black black black, it just looks so good with an aquarium I don't know why but I just hate oak and anything brown, it just is ew. No offense to anyone with a nice oak finish I just personally am all for the black . Go matte black for sure !
