when i get home ill take some more pics of the tank..

coralline starting to grow all over, bio pellets working good, levels are super low, ill test everything tonite..

i added a sand bed as well, since i want some wrasses... i got a pair of red coris wrasses as well and got rid of the triggers.. now i have the sand bed, no point in me going with large fish since i was pretty limited to that with a barebottom

the nem moved back down to the bottom after i added the sand... the nems only moved a couple times, and only when i change something around in the tank.. the nem is also changing a nice highlighter green color...

the pic of the tank is old and the tank looks a good bit different than that...i moved some powerheads around and stuff

I like the sand, i do like barebottom but your always missing something and then you add sand and thats it pulls it all together imo

yeah barebottom has its pros, i LOVED how easy it was to clean up the tank, but my tank just looked wierd, my pics never came out good, and i was really limited to fish.. no way could i have a 150 and not have it packed to the brim with wrasses and tangs and 2 clowns

and the sand i was able to get was tropical fish sand and its got a decent grain size... i have mad flow in the tank and not a single bit of sand moves...

except for when my female maroon clown starts digging holes in it, but at least i dont have to worry about my sand being sifted.. she handles that for me, but the sand grain size is so big it doesnt make the tank cloudy when she does it, the sand just falls back down and she has to do it again
