How does your Dartfish react to other fish nearby? How long have you had it? Mine (Purple Firefish) is very skittish, but has become less over the last 3 months or so. I've had him for 5 months, and it took himm 3 and a half or so before he would stop hiding whenever any other fish came within 4 feet of him. Also, I no longer have to spot feed him, due to his "bravery."

 

ive had mine a week.. he is out swimming around with everyone..

my kole tang, flame angel, and firefish sleep around the same area..they all get along fine..and swim together..if you walk up to the tank fast he will go under that rock with the acans and hide for a couple secs and then come back out..

my tank is weird, all my fish get along, and i was worried about the flame angel but no worries so far..

oh yeah this is the first time ive seen it since its been n the tank..so about a week to get comfy..
