Your tank is looking good. You and others here make it look so easy to set these tanks up and run great. How long have you been runnning marine tanks?

    Thanks for all the pictures.

i started the 29 october 1 2010, then it overgrew and i upgraded to this 40 breeder..

i do nothing to this tank but water change once a week(5 gallons)..top off everyday, check salinity everyday, and feed it...

no dosing or anything...i use coralife salt, at 1.o26, giving me cal 530, ph 8.3, mag 1530..very low maintenance, and im prolly overstocked a good bit, no algae anywhere..

    Thanks for the info.

This forum and its members are awesome. I don't have a tank now but used to have a 150 mixed reef. Sure wish I had this kind of information back then (2001-2004) to operate the tank. There will be another tank in my future. Your 40 breeder size might be a possible for me.

    Thanks again,
    Rick

yeah i love the breeder...i dont have the space right now to put up a huge tank..i have a 75 in storage, with galaxy ballasts and lumanmax reflectors, with a reef octopus skimmer i bought a few weeks ago..so it will be set up when i move out after i graduate and get a real job..

but the breeders are a great size, plenty of space...its more a cube type tank in a way...

and yeah 3reef is awesome.. im a member at alot of forums, but this is the only one besides our two local ones i go too now..
