    ill post them when i pick it up from my dad...

    how soon do i need to get some lights on the tank..right now i have 78w of t5 with ati bulbs and individual reflectors..i have a crocea clam and a little acro..those are the only light sucking corals i have..

    how soon do i need to act..

    With no light, you should be good for 3 or 4 days anyways. Since you have some T-5s you should be okay for quite a bit longer, but can't give you anything definitive though. Sooner is certainly better.

    I have a friend with a 40 breeder like ours whom has dual t5's, one actinic and one 10k I think. But he's had it for probably 2-3 years. He has all kinds of sps, and even a clam in there. Everything has always looked healthy and awesome. He added 2 more bulbs recently to reach the color of the corals full potential. I love how shallow and wide the breeder is, it just makes it seems like there's more room than just a 40 gallons. Obviously, stronger lights are going to be better but not totally necessary. Like you said though, can't beat free haha. The new lights are going to make the corals look amazing. Just get ready for some serious top offs haha. Even with my dual T5s I feel like I top off a lot. Let's see more pics once the sand settles!
