im gonna go by after class and get some more sand..i think i have enough live rock..i want it to be minimal scape tank..i like the open look i think im gonna be able to do...

    now the lighting..
110w power compacts..in a tank depth of around 10" to the sand..what could i get away with growing and holding....could i possibly put small sps frags at the very top..

the bulbs are brand new..when these bulbs go out im going to put my 78w of t5s and then take out the 20k halide on the 30 gallon and put a 14k and have no supplements on the 30 gallon...but thats way down the road..

Looking good, you should be able to keep whatever you want with lights in such a shallow tank.

awesome thanks 2..i kinda figured that but was just checking..

now would it be cooler to set this up as mantis tank or do a seahorse tank..

ive had a seahorse tank before and it was fun,

would a mantis tank be harder..since they dig so much, how would i go about the scaping and falling rocks possible..

and whatever i do with this it has to be reef safe or safe enough since it will be checked often..
