I bet it takes forever, I have a 90 gpd unit and it seems like eternity to fill anything

ok guys so today at lunch i went home to check on the tank and most of the rock is covered in a light green algae... no lights, no skimmer, just alot of dry rock, a RDSB, 15 pounds of well established live rock, established bio pellet reactor, and a whole bottle of mircolube lift special blend bacteria.... is it possible my tank has cycled in 36 hours..

ive cycled tanks fast but not this fast, like a week... could the biopellet bacteria mixed with the special blend really cycle a tank this fast...

    Absolutely love the stand.

Only way to really tell if you have cycled is to challenge the tank. Stick something to decay like some fish food, if you have no ammonia in 2 days you are doing well.
