Also, remember when drawing in the main reagent into the 1 ml syringe you draw until the bottom of the black plunger comes to the 1 ml mark not the reagent.

 

Yea lol i messed up the very first time i used it lol. But i do remeber that and i have a copy of the chart, but thanks for everyones help.

Well one more question I guess, the spoon with the powder thats a lvl spoon not a heeping spoon.

 

I don't remember actually ever seeing anything about that, but I have always just used a level scoop.

 

which side is the bottom of the plunger? I assume the bottom of the plunger is where the plunger meets the reagent.

 

yea, it's the part that touches the reagent.

 

I lost my directions on this test. Tried to open up the links that were listed on here but my screen just went to marinedepot. I did the test like you all said. I know my mag is low but I dont know how to calculate the dose since I lost the chart.

I had 0.12 left in the syringe..maybe even 0.13. I know that is low because I remember i used to get to below 0.06 to almost 0.03 and that was the low end...but can anybody direct me to a link to do the conversion.

I am not surprised that my mag is low....I am dropping my kH and pH Majorily....so it makes sense my mg would be low. My kH dropped from 12 to 6 in a week, while dosing 2 part. So I used the calculator on this site and dosed borax yesterday and it went from 6 yest to 5 tonight! So something is sucking it dry. Thinking it is time for a calcium reactor. See Curt I was listening to what you were telling me! LOL

My corals and clams are growing...not to mention my coralline BUT they are sucking my tank dry!
