salifin tang and yellow tang?

can i put a salifin tang on with my yellow tang toguether? my tank is 150G.

 

sailfin and yellow tend to fight from what ive seen. the rule of thumb i was told was no tangs with same general body shape.

 

yeah from my readings none with the same general shape.

you could do a tomni tang and a sail fin sorry my spelling is bad. Or a regal or even a chevron with the sail fin

 

In a 150 gallon tank, if they have different body shapes and different coloring you should be okay...should is the important word here. There is no guarantee they will get along okay, but it's hopeful.

 

I have a Chevron, Regal, Clown, with my Sailfin....they are doing ok together maybe choose one of them

 

ok the thing is that i already have a yellow tang and i kinda like how the salifin tang looks like but i rather be safe than sorry.. thanks guys K+

 

I would say yes. I have a sailfin and yellow tang in my 125. In that tank I have a yellow eye tang, powder blue tang, sailfin tang, and yellow tang. They all get along great with no problems.
