Salinity. How high is too high?

    I was in the same boat!

    My salinity was at 1.30 for about 9 days (I've been neglecting it lately....). The only reason I noticed was because all of my zoanthids were closed up and my starfish hadn't moved in 5 days. Over the course of 3 days I brought it down to 1.25. As of this morning, the zoos are opening up again.

    My 3 acros are okay, along with all lps. The birdnest seems to not like the salinity though, as it hadn't extended as much a before.

    BTW, I have calibration fluid. It calibrates at 1.026. I've calibrated with R/O and the fluid and don't notice much of a difference (if any at all). NOTE: I don't keep ultra expensive sticks though so I don't have anything dependent on my salinity being that accurate.
