Anyone know much about this? I have ran across her page a few times over the years and notice she has some great success via her personal tanks. Anyone else know much about her or her product GARF?

My understanding of GARF is that they are among the early pioneers in sustainable reef keeping. They do a lot with build your own live rock, seeding from frags, etc. I know they have been around for well over 10 years - I did a lot of research back before I started my first SW tank (post college that is) and theirs was one of the first sites I came across...even before I found the original 3 reef (I followed 3Reefs then published "3 step" program to start my tank ultimately). So I think they are legit. That being said their web site is utter crap from a design perspective. Its really hard to navigate, and figure out what they are about, what/if they are selling, etc. I get the impression that the commercial aspect of what they do is more of a by product of other things (local education, etc.). I honestly think they have good ideas and good info, they just need to organize it and publish it better....

They were popular a decade or so ago. I haven't heard anything recently. At some point, they started to push some products and methods that many considered snake oil and they got flamed all over the net. They came up in a lot of searches when I started in the hobby, but quickly realized a lot of their methods were pretty questionable. They did great things to promote the hobby though.

Honestly, I found the old site and a lot of you tube videos. Most a year or two old being the most recent. I'll look some more.

I assume this is the same company that introduced GARF bonsai Acropora?

    Yes.

Their Acropora propagation was what interested me.

They sell a product called garf grunge which is a mix of algae, corraline algae, micro sea stars and other stuff all to promote biodiversity in your reef. Especially corraline algae. And I understand they are coming out with a grunge version 2.
