SALLY LIGHTFOOT.. mistake?

I loved my Sally! He was one of my favorite inhabitants. I actually used to hand-feed him. At dinner time, he'd climb to the top rocks, I'd stick my hand in with a chunk of food and he'd take it from me.
Unfortunately, the last time he went to molt, someone took noticed, waited until he was mid-molt and ripped all his legs off. I found him dead in the morning. I was so upset. I'm not positive, but I'm blaming my CBS. He's getting kicked to the fuge as soon as I can catch him.

 

I really love mine. He is currently the favorite in my tank. Lately he evens eats straight from the turkey baster at dinner time! I love that little guy!!

 

i woke up this morning and one of my large mushrooms is shredded. no one else in the tank could have inflicted that type of damage.. its looking like the only way to catch him is destroying my entire tank and pulling everything out. not cool.
