    I think there may be a mix up between specific gravity (SG) and parts per thousand (ppt).

    Actually, the Black Sea is near half the salinity of the other oceans. It's the Dead Sea that's so high in salinity. I knew what you meant though! ;)

    Yeah I thought that was a bit high,,figured it was a typo,I was told for corals you should shoot for what you mentioned,anyways since my last post it has went up in point which I believe will be it's stable area till salt creep comes up then I will just go from there.
