Hey everyone.. I was cleaning up around the tank two days ago and I noticed this so I wiped it off.. My husband was just looking at the tank and saw the same thing again in the same spot.. So he looked around the tank for leaks he looked under the tank and on all the sides.. We are pretty sure this is salt but we dont know ware its coming from.. Anyone else have any ideas??? I have also seen this in other spots around the tank.. I dont know how its getting their... I know its no from water changes because the first time I saw it was right after one.. and we havent done a water change sence.. We are do for one today though.. Could it be that the linning is leaking?? Help!! Oh, we are also in the proccess of changing out the cc to sand.. could this have soemthing to do with this salt spot??

well if it was leaking out the bottom i don't think the salt creep would go up the tank, with out any going on the trim, but i would check for dampness anyway.

Looks like you have a tiny leak somewhere in the sealant at the bottom of your tank. It's nothing to worry about unless your stand starts getting wet. It's pretty common and will slow itself(usually) as it clogs with salt creep. But, ultimately it looks like you have a leak in your tank. I've had many tanks with the same issue before.
