Salt on the bottem of tank??

    not to drag it on but you shuld have a plan just in case rubbermaid tubs to act as a temp tank will work if you need to reseal

    +1 on that. I have had the same problem with my tanks. I don't worry unless I see water. It's pretty rare when you pop a leak down at the bottom from what I understand. If a leak happens, it's usually at the top around the brace. I did have a problem with that.

    In case you need to go to an extreme, you can always get 2 plastic thrash cans and move everything to them till you solve the problem

    I'm actually surprised that you are the only one that's seen that pjohn. It's very common with old, used, and cheap petco tanks. nothing to worry about. The one that's in the picture looks very minimal compared to some that I've seen. I wouldn't have a bucket ready for that. Wipe it clean when it gets annoying. Again it's very common and not a big deal.;)
