    Just to follow up: Although skimmer's do pull out minerals as you said, they are definitely worth it, especially for a reef tank. Doing consistent water changes will replace the minerals anyways. I definitely recommend one!

    And as Corailline said, one Koralia Nano won't be enough, especially for a reef tank. I would consider using that in conjunction with at least a 525. In fact, most places that sell them list the 525 cheaper than the Nano's! Big Al's Online has been running a great sale on them. But definitely use at least two either way.

    Skip on the dragonette as I think you are leaning towards anyways. Not fair to the fish IMO. A pair of clowns and maybe a goby/pistol shrimp combo would be cool. Although I have seen a singular clown and a 6-line do well before. No idea on a pair and a 6-line though.

    Anyways, you are doing an awesome job so far with all the research you have done. I wish all noobs came on here knowing as much as you do! I think you are well on your way to a successful hobby!
