Do salt water snails multiply ? Every morning, before the bright lights go on, I see tiny white specs on the glass. They soon disappear when the bright light is turned on. Could these be baby snails ? If not, what are they ?

yeah they can multiply...depending on what type of snails you have (I cant remember what kinds) In all my tanks that have snails, I have a variety of snails in there. I have lots of little baby snails that hide on the rocks...these are not pods. There is a white shell on it that is round.

What does yours look like? They might be pods. When you turn on your lights do they scurry off really fast or stay there and gradually disappear through the day? Can you see a shell?
