Wow thanks everyone! I have a few pictures but my camera is kinda crappy. Eventually I'll take more with my old film camera. I am pretty sure i still have a macro lens for that one.

Anyway yea I hear worms are good! So.. I will try to live with them :D I know for sure I have some kind of bristle worm. He is really long and tons of spaghetti or hair worms. They all creep out from the rock and search for debris like a horror movie. Very festive!

    Here are a few pics!

Zoanthus? I have several of these. They glow in the blue LEDs. Very shiny I like them and hope they aren't evil satan corals. The one on the left showed up this morning.. weird.

I don't know what that big thing is... I don't think it is alive. I noticed spaghetti or hair worms coming out of the top and bottom of it where there are cracks and it is turning white in the back of it. There is a little starfish at the base who loves it. Are they eating it? Are my bastard children eating each other? I'm so proud.

those arent zoanthids there majano or aipstasia anenomes which you want to get rid of. you can buy aipstasia x, joes juice or you can use a syringe and boil water and shoot the boiling water into the center of them. it will kil them easily

Wow Thanks Nismo! And Drew3 and offensetaken for the helpful ID!!! I already love this forum.

I started reading more about manjano and I am pretty sure that is what I have. I noticed they are moving. There were some on the underside of that rock at the top and they crawled up the side. There are no more on the underside but now they are all around its middle side with the other two. Apparently they like to rise to the top of the tank.. and I read that zoas do not move. So I believe it to be an anemone.

I will get some pics up and put them in the "ID this" spot in this forum.. I also saw something that might be aiptasia as well. I will try to get some good pics of them too. Haha just my luck! But I am determined to destroy them ;) and anyway this can keep me busy as my tank cycles.. :uzi:

I needed some kind of distraction anyway. I think I will try joes juice or aiptasia X. I have also read that you can put a flat rock over the top of them and they will often move to that rock and you can just take it out. I might try this too. I'm kind of in love with this idea. Out smarting an anemone.. I don't even think they have brains. I don't have much either so it should be a good even matched battle of wits going on!! I'll let you know who wins LOL!

    Hello and welcome to 3reef!!
Your off to a great start with your Biocube, That's a great set up. It is a good idea to zap all your pests in the beginning of your tanks life, as it only gets harder as you add livestock. I must admit I have not been winning the battle of wits with my aiptasia, its like a never ending game of Wack-a-mole in my tank. So hit'em hard and fast while you can.
