So I was on youtube earlier and I'm pretty sure what I saw was a turtle that only gets around 2-3in and it was a bit muffled but i think he called it a stinkpot??? Is this a salt water turtle, and if so are there other SW turtles that can go into a 6gal nano, and if so on top of that where do I buy???

So is this a no go?? i hear a lot of "most" turtles, but anyone know for sure that all turtles will either get too big or illegal to obtain?

I could be wrong, but I don't think so......I don't think you'll be able to legally get ANY species of sea turtle. You would pretty much have to have a PhD in Marine Biology, run a public aquarium, and go through a couple of years of heck just to obtain a TEMPORARY permit.

there are plenty of fresh water turtles you could get but most don't meet your desired size.

Well, if you read the link I provided, you'd see that all but one are protected, and they all get too big for a home aquarium...
