Here is the return and drain plumbing.

the left is the drain that will run to the filter sock and the right is the mag 7 that t's to the fuge on the far right

The return plumbing is is 3/4 and the drain is 1"
I have a asm g3. Tek light 6 bulb for my fuge light u have the marineland double bright led fixture I have 2x 1400 ph a 1050 and a 750 not all are going to be used.
Also I have 2x two little fish reactors I will Run with gfo and carbon or perigean

My stand was custom made with a salt water protection the one they use on wood boats
Testing:
I have a hand held refractometer (rhs-10atc)
What test kit do you recommend?

The trash can u see in the first pic
will be used for my mixing container

test kits
you will need - Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate initially so you can track your cycle
in a few weeks time you will need PH, DKH(or Alkalinity) Calcium and Magnesium
add to that Phosphate and thats about it IIRC

Just got my cat litter 3.10 at pet smart not a bad deal
Should see rock tomorrow

 

also how much live rock do i need to seed my tank. i am going to go around and buy a few pounds around town to get the most diversity is that a good idea

 

what is the cat litter for?

 

yes i know cat litter? well the cat litter if for the fuge it is a cheep way to get a "mineral mud" i guess u could say there is more to why to use it if u are curious just search kitty litter here on the form as others know more on the subject. but for your question it is for the refugium. 8)

 

just a update tank is cycling with water i have some frozen plankton and a raw shrimp in the tank. is that enough to cycle it. also i am expecting my rock to day but worst case i will see it Wens day also i got 100 lbs. from reef cleaners i highly recommend him.

 

also i am going to return my corallife ro i am not happy with it and go and buy the air water and ice typhoon 111 should i get a 75 or 100 gpd unit 8)

 

went to pet smart and got 30 lbs of sugar fine sand for my fuge
my rock did not come??? where is it also this week i am going to get the hard ware to hang the lite and get some live rock
