That sump layout looks good to me.

The plate coral is glued to the rock? Imo it should be on the sand, not glued to anything. It probably won't do so well the way you have it now.
    Tanks looking good!!

No it looks like it has a foot? Maybe so it should be on the sand

Can I break the foot off with frag cutters?

Never saw a plate coral with a foot. The bottom of a plate coral is, well, a plate. Then the soft tissue is on top of that. Maybe a better pic will help.

    I have really good news!
Both corals seam to be doing well! Knock on wood.

The brain still has some white "bone" sticking out it has shrunk. I am going to continue to dip every week. As so it dose not get infected. Also it dose have a container over it so it dose not get picked at agin.

In my opinion stressing over fighting ick is pointless. My tang just went through it and honestly it's present in most systems even if you can't see it. The problem is once a tank has ick it always will until all fish are removed for a certain amount of time and it has died off. I just feed a little bit more to keep the fishes immune system up and usually run the tank at about 81 degrees. Till this day I have only had one fish get it and all survived. I would only qt a fish with ick if it could harm the tank when it died (box fish etc). Good luck and the tank looks great!
