It getting close to holding some saltwater. I have been collecting parts for two years and it is all coming together. Let me know if you see anything I may have missed. There is an equipment list of what i have in a previous post. I am actually a bit nervous about adding the saltwater.

    Plumbing a corner tank.

There were some definite challenges plumbing a corner tank. There is not much room to play under a corner tank stand. I had hoped in the beginning to be able to hard plumb the lines with pvc but the more I looked at it I had to go with a hybrid. The return I made up myself I wanted to split to return flow a long both sides of the back of the tank. The drain is a megaflow drain. Looking forward to H2O. I will keep you posted.

Yeh, plumbing small tanks with solid pvc is a nightmare man. I would definitely go with either strictly vinyl or a combo of pvc and vinyl.

but looking good. Did ya drill the glass yourself or was it predrilled?

It was a pre drilled tank I got from a lfs they have a corner tank on display. That store began my saltwater journey. It felt weird painting clear glass black. I went with flat black. I am very happy I did. Two coats with 24 hours between coats should do it.

I finished gluing up my last few fittings today and test fit the tank all good so far. I am happy that I have it hard plumbed with pvc untill after the ball valves. I am going flex from there to the sump.
