Just got back from a quick trip to SF spent a day at the Academy of Sciences in the Golden gate Park. Anybody else been? What did you think of the Aquariums?

I took some photo's but it was really hard. It's dark down there and you cannot use your flash. Not to mention how crowded it was.

The Philippine aquarium right next to the planitarium made my jaw drop. My wife was trying to get me away from that exhibit for about 2 hours :)

Really I didn't think it was that great. Sure they had lot's of fish but I only saw about 2 varieties of nems and hardly any corals. I really dug the huge clams they had by the rain forest and rays and sharks!!

Is that what was recently refurbished? I used to go to the aquarium society there and it was the best place to hold club meetings.
