    Thanks, you've made my day amcarrig! I don't have to worry about paying extra now for bags of wet sand! :)

    I'm going to stop by my LFS at lunchtime today to see what they have in stock (Marine Warehouse here in Tampa, big store, but very hit or miss on inventory).

    I'll be sure to post some pics and a play-by-play of the project for anyone else thinking of doing this...

    :grinthumbs: Looking forward to it.

    You might want to pick up some filter floss as well and run that for a few hours during/after the crushed coral removal so that it can pull out all the detritus that's going to get kicked up when you're taking out the old substrate.
