    That is a great calculator. Make sure you realize the different limitations with varying sand bed depths. Also, different types of sand will have different properties as far as types of fish that will do well, types of cleaners that will do well and also type of filtration they can provide.

    also take into account rock that ur gona add...since rock takes up space ull need less sand...when i calculated it it said i needed 120 lbs my tank has 80 and its fine because of the rock :) 3-4 in :)
