    Im not really thrilled with my sand. i want to get aragonite sand cuz iots thinner is it possible to do a sand change.

    Yes, it is always possible to do a change. How much work is required depends upon how long your system has been up and how big it is...

    If you can, pull you CUC, fish, and corals into a QT, your LR into a bucket...change your sand and do a major water change....re-acclimate your livestock to the new tank...

    Thats about everything you would need to know, be careful though if you use any new live sand when you do the change it could trigger a cycle.
