    I have a 3inch sandbed *60lbs fiji pink* and it keeps on producing large bubbles it drives me crazy when it does it, i cant stand it.

    Any idea on why its doing this?

    My sand farts sometimes too. Hydrogen sulfide and / or methane gas build up.

    mine does too... i believe it is nitrogen coming from the bed but not sure?

    ugh its been doing this for 8 months

    ohhh ok so sand fart lol
    ive also noticed my fish like to try to eat the bubbles thinking its food, then when they go up to it, they realize its just a bubble
