Sand for my new 90g ..

    So I'm thinking I will have around a 2" sand bed...

    Now I have two rocks that are large that will be the base for my aquascaping see attached pictures.

    My plan is to use a PVC sheet with a pvc pipe coming out to support the two rocks...My fear is a dead spot under the PVC sheet, Should this be a fear of mine? If so whats the best way to support larger rocks? .. My biggest rock is 28lbs with all kinds of caves thru out it...

    You can see the PVC pipe in the 1st picture.. Could I just put a acrylic sheet under the pvc sheet? it to fill the empty space

    i have 180gall tank with 2" of live sand in i packed my bace with small rockes an then put large on top and have had no problems .
    what sort of things you putting in ya tank?

    Tank will be mostly sps...I have to use something to support the big rock...I'm thinking about a goby and pistol shrimp.
