Sand gets gross, any clean up addition that could help?

    I have caribsea black sand, its not a very fine sand, but because its black it gets gross

    Currently I have a clean up crew that is about double what it should be from reef cleaners, and it doesnt seem that any of them really work at the sand.

    anything you would suggest adding?

    I have
    nerites
    nassarius
    hermits
    Limpets
    Dward and regular ceriths

    The crew has thinned a bit over the past few months from the hermits eating the snails I am assuming, but I ordered twice what was reccomened
